Name: Coach: Experience: Background: Julia Melloni Age Group and Junior Program This is her sixth year on the coaching staff with Dynamo. Graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.A. in Mass Communication.  Teaching swimming has been a part of Julia’s life for years.  She supervised the Preschool and Kindergarten Swim Program here at the YMCA.  Julia is an ASCA Level 1 certified coach, holds current First Aid, CPR-PR, Coaches Safety Training, Lifeguarding, YMCA Progressive Swim Instructor and YMCA Leadership Training certifications.  She has been a Girl Scout leader and spearheaded the building of the Edmunds Elementary School playground.  Julia also teaches art classes at the Children’s Discovery Garden.  Other interests     of Julia’s are cycling, hiking, camping, skiing, music, quilt making, writing, spirituality and swimming.
